With more than 20 years of experience as a fire safety technician, Eric Côté has visited hundreds of buildings across Canada. This field expertise allowed him to observe a recurring problem: owners and managers lacked suitable tools to ensure their compliance with the requirements of the Quebec Construction Code and the Régie du bâtiment du Québec.
Building on this experience, Eric founded GCA Sécurité Incendie to offer a full range of services: risk analysis, design of fire safety plans (FSP/ERP), equipment inspection, fire safety training and sale of protective equipment.
In 2026, with the digital era more present than ever, GCA is taking the next step. We have developed Previo, an innovative online platform that finally meets the needs of building and business owners. Our tool not only lets you comply with the laws in force in accordance with NFPA standards, but also offers a complete system for tracking fire safety equipment, something the industry had long been waiting for.
